We recently sent a panel of VIPs to handmade burger Co. at Spiceal Street to try their new summer menu. The new menu, which launched earlier in the summer, includes new varieties of burgers and sides. Take a read of their reviews…
Catherine Gallagher
Catherine usually likes to eat burgers when she visits restaurant so a trip to handmade burger Co. should be perfect! Her first impression was that it was in a great location and that the staff were very friendly on arrival.
She really liked the “funky, modern décor” and felt that the staff were friendly, relaxed and attentive. Catherine and her guest opted for the Mexican Chipotle and Amercian Cheese burgers with chips and onion rings. She thought that the presentation of the dishes were “really good” and felt that the sides were very generous.
She’ll definitely be visiting the restaurant again, although she wouldn’t opt for the America Cheese burger again as she found it a little too spicy. Catherine’s guest really loved it, Catherine says: “It’s his new favourite place, primarily because of the onion rings!”
Laura Doxford
Laura likes to regularly eat out and says that Browns Bar and Brasserie is one of her favourites, with Mexican being her favourite cuisine.
Her first impressions of the restaurant was that it was larger than expected and was very light and airy. She was impressed with the surroundings and liked the fact that it’s so close to the shops and other bar and restaurants.
Laura and her guest decided on the Jerk Chicken burger and Mexican Chipotle burger with onion rings, peri peri chips and a blue cheese dip. Laura thought the food “looked appetizing”.
Laura’s guest enjoyed his experience and the Jerk Chicken burger however, Laura said that she wouldn’t choose the Mexican Chipotle burger again but really enjoyed the sides stating that they were decent portion sizes.
