Godiva, the luxury Belgian chocolatier, is offering Birmingham residents an opportunity to savour its magnificent smooth and silky chocolate, with a new 18-month pop-up opening at the city’s Selfridges on November 15.
The Godiva pop-up, situated near the Foodhall, will offer personalised products and gifting options, including the newly-launched Christmas collection. Shoppers will also have the opportunity to build their own ballotin from Godiva’s famous chocolates, handpicked with support from Godiva’s experts, as well as enjoying chocolate-dipped strawberries.
To launch the new stand, Godiva is offering the first 100 guests a complimentary cone of sweet strawberries worth £10 each; shoppers simply need to quote “Treat Yourself Wonderful" at the counter. The giveaway will commence at 11am.
The luxury chocolatier’s representatives will artistically coat each succulent strawberry in rich Godiva chocolate, finishing it with a selection of delicious toppings, for guests to pick from. Toppings include brésilienne – roasted and chopped nuts covered in crispy caramel, chocolate flakes, coconut, or Speculoos. Speculoos is a delicious spiced shortcrust biscuit with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
Godiva’s innovative gift offering at the opulent concession will give customers the opportunity to participate in the design and creation of their own luxury chocolate presents. This includes the exclusive Godiva Lolpops - a 3D chocolate lollipop of a customer’s head, adorned in edible gold dust. Created using a 3D scanning and printing system, customers can watch their heads appear before their eyes in delicious Godiva Belgian chocolate.
Additionally, the range includes Godiva Cards - a chocolate card that can be engraved with bespoke messages and designs. The range is produced using Godiva’s unique luxury blended Belgian chocolate recipe, specially developed by the team’s Chef Chocolatiers, in milk, dark and white chocolate.
Visit the pop-up on November 15 and take home some decadent Belgian chocolate for you and your loved ones to savour.
