When the sun’s shining, there’s nothing better than enjoying a leisurely lunch or post-shop dinner with your mates. Need some inspo on where to eat at Bullring & Grand Central? We’ve picked out some of the best restaurants where you can sit back, relax and tuck in to some delicious food – all while catching some rays. Just don’t forget your SPF!

Bill’s Restaurant

Located just off Central Street near Selfridges and St Martin’s Church, Bill's has the perfect little terrace for you to slip away and devour some of their amazing dishes, while taking in the views of the church and city roof tops.

Their menu is bursting with flavour and fresh ingredients, from seafood to seasonal vegetables. Don’t miss their delicate tasting Pan-Fried Sea Bass – it’s served with avocado, cherry tomatoes, caper salad and a herb rösti.

For dessert, try their Strawberry Eton Mess and dive into layers of meringue folded with whipped cream and strawberry sauce.

Brown’s

Situated in Spiceal Street overlooking St Martin’s Square, this little hotspot is the perfect location to enjoy some outdoor dining thanks to their ground floor terrace and balcony.

Celebrate the best flavours of summer at Brown’s – from buttery green beans to braised blades of beef – and indulge in a little post-shop feasting. The Prawn and Crab Linguine, served with a lime, chilli and coriander pesto, is a must-try! Or, if you’re after something a little lighter, slurp up the Courgette and Lemon Soup with some warm sourdough slathered in Netherend Farm butter.

Café Rouge

If you’re looking for somewhere central to meet friends for lunch and a gossip, head to Café Rouge. Just a short walk from our famous Bullring Bull, this French-style bistro has a dedicated terrace where you can enjoy some of their traditional dishes.

For a light bite try their new Duck Confit Salad, served with crispy pancetta, watercress, frisée lettuce, radish, shallots and sourdough croutons. If you’re wanting a vegetarian option, their new Filo Parcels – packed with a medley of veg, from cherry tomatoes to yellow peppers, and served with a herb and sundried tomato salad – is a must-try.

Chaophraya

Want to dine in style? Head to Chaophraya. Sitting at the heart of the Bullring, this contemporary Thai restaurant has a beautiful terrace with extensive views out to the church.

Grab your mates and explore their seasonal menu, packed with classic and signature Thai dishes like their mouth-watering Chaophraya Platter – a sharing starter-for-two consisting of Thai chicken tacos, Thai fish cakes, chicken spring rolls, red curry battered prawns and crispy duck salad. Or, if you’re a fan of seafood, then choose the refreshing Ceviche Scallop Chilli Nasturtiums – fresh in-season scallops, cured in lime juice with a sweet and tangy chilli dressing.

Handmade Burger Co.

Nestled below the iconic Selfridges building, Handmade Burger Co. has a little terrace area overlooking St Martin’s Square, which is the perfect spot for lunchtime people watching.

Order the Slow N Low: an indulgent patty topped with marinated pulled pork, BBQ pit sauce, mayo, lettuce and red onion. Then sit back and relax. Want something a little more bite-sized? Go for their Deep Fried Halloumi. Served with a choice of sauces, these cheesy bites are the perfect finger food to scoff in-between chats with your mates.
