Where Brum Comes to Life

This February, Bullring invites Brum to experience something a little bit special.

Step up and take centre stage with FORGED, a spectacular, fire-breathing organ that puts you in control. Play the keys and send bursts of flame into the night sky, transforming Central Street into a live, fiery performance.

Set against the iconic Selfridges building and the historic St Martin’s Church, FORGED creates an unforgettable backdrop for photos, shared moments and proper wow-factor scenes, capturing Birmingham’s past, present and future in one powerful setting.

This high-energy live fire experience features music from Insurgent alongside spoken word performances by Amerah Saleh, inspired by the city’s industrial roots of sparks, steel and sound. Together, they turn Bullring into a bold celebration of creativity, culture and Brum’s unstoppable spirit.

Join us from 12–15 February, 5pm–10pm, with live performances at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. Between shows, the flames are yours, so step up, take control and quite literally play with fire.

Bullring is proud to be part of Birmingham Light Festival this year, celebrating the creativity, culture and energy that lights up our city. As a City Curator Project, the festival brings together artists, partners and communities from across Brum, brought to life with the support of all five city-centre BIDs and produced by OPUS.
